Blake Baggett would race both motos with a sore wrist from last weekend’s first moto crash at Pala. Though it was a lot better, his wrist was still holding him back. In moto one, he rounded the first turn inside the top five. Soon, he found himself defending his top five position while battling the muddy track conditions from the rain earlier in the day. With his Scott goggles providing clear vision in the mud, he kept the charge holding on to 7th at the checkered flag. Blake would start moto two up front, as the FMF power helped him lead the field up the hill into turn one. With the track dried out, he would scrap for position inside the top five for the first half of the race. He would hit his marks, taking 7th , earning 7th overall for the day.

The weekend off comes at the perfect time for Blake, as he looks to come into High Point healed up and ready to battle for the win.

“It was a good day,” said Baggett. “I felt good out there and rode consistant on the rough track. We will take this break to do more work and be ready to chase that podium for High Point in a few weeks.”

Justin Bogle used his Dunlop tires for a solid launch off the gate, rounding the first turn in moto one inside the top five. He continued to battle inside the top ten on the muddy track, holding off challenges from the competition to take the checkered flag in 10th place. Another good start in moto two allowed Justin to start in the top ten. He continued to charge late in to the moto and crossed the finish line in 10th , matching his first moto result to end the day 10th overall.

“A better day overall,” said Bogle. “We made some progress and my pace was better this weekend. We still have some work to do, so we’ll take this break to recharge and then be ready at High Point.”

Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS will take a week break before traveling to High Pont MX for round four of the 2019 Pro Motocross Nationals in Mt. Morris, PA.
